Shelley Hannah was diagnosed 10 years ago with lymphangioleiomyomatosis, otherwise known as LAMs Disease.  The disease affects middle aged women where normal lung tissue is destroyed and replace it with cysts. As a result, air cannot move freely in and out of the lungs, and the lungs cannot supply enough oxygen to the body's other organs.
