Triangle Lift-A-Thon to Raise Money for LAMs Disease

Triangle Fraternity's RIT Chapter has been raising money to help one of our friend's mother, Shelley Hannah, who has been diagnosed with LAMs disease. When she was was diagnosed with lymphangioleiomyomatosis , or LAM’s disease. In summary, LAM’s disease is a rare lung disease which almost exclusively affects women during their child bearing years. There is currently no cure for the disease, but, patients are given the choice if getting a lung transplant to help prolong their life.  Shelly opted for the lung transplant and was put on the list on September 29th, 2008. She was fortunate enough to receive the transplant this past fall.  The problem is that not everything that she needs for the transplant is covered by insurance.

A few months ago Shelley was sent to the hospital to receive a double lung transplant in a final attempt to save her life.  The Brothers of Triangle received word of Ms.

It's week 10. What are you doing? Studying? Finishing up projects? Preparing for presentations? We all need a break from this long year.

Triangle DJ Dance Party will once again be turning the Triangle Mansion into one of the hottest dance floors on campus this Friday May 15.

The dance party is College Spring Break themed, so bring your grass skirts, sunglasses, and your dancing sandles and get ready to rock out. There will be competitions and prizes for best dressed and best dancer. Check the Facebook group for more info.
